Our Quality

Grounded in nature. Elevated by purity. Those aren’t just words on a label.

They describe how we decide what earns a place on our shelf. Every brand we carry has to clear the same checks before it reaches you — and every product ends with a batch code you can look up any time. This page walks that vetting, link by link: six checks, three lab panels, one standard.

How we vet a brand

We don’t make kratom — we curate it. Every product we carry is traced backward through six checks. The order matters: a brand that fails any one of them doesn’t make the shelf.

  1. 01

    The brand

Before anything else, we look at who makes it. We only carry brands that publish third-party COAs, disclose where their leaf comes from, and meet AKA GMP standards. A brand that won’t stand behind its own paperwork doesn’t get considered.

  2. 02

    The origin

Mitragyna speciosa is a rainforest tree in the coffee family, and like coffee, where and how it grows shapes everything. We ask each brand to name its origin and to be honest about vein color and strain — the maturity of the leaf and how it was handled after picking.

  3. 03

    The leaf

Single origin, not blended-from-mystery-stock to hit a price point. Dried with care — sun, shade, or slow-cure depending on the strain — then milled to a fine, uniform powder. No fillers, no dyes, no cutting agents. Leaf, and only leaf.

  4. 04

    The lab

Before any batch is released, samples go to an independent, third-party laboratory — a lab the brand doesn’t own and can’t influence. It tells everyone what’s in the batch, and just as importantly, what isn’t. No COA, no shelf space.

  5. 05

    The batch

Passing batches are sealed in airtight, light-resistant packaging and stamped with a lot number. We stock small and rotate fast, pulling from recent batches rather than warehousing old stock.

  6. 06

    Your door

Every package carries its manufacturer’s batch code — your key to the paper trail. Match it to its Certificate of Analysis here, whenever you like, for as long as you keep the product.

What the lab looks for

A Certificate of Analysis is the lab’s sworn account of a batch. A complete COA covers three territories:

Identity & alkaloids

Confirms genuine Mitragyna speciosa and measures naturally occurring alkaloids, including mitragynine — batch-to-batch consistency you can read for yourself.

Heavy metals

Every batch is screened for lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury against strict thresholds. A batch that fails doesn’t get a second opinion — it gets rejected.

Microbial safety

Screening for salmonella, E. coli, yeast, mold, and total microbial load. Clean handling from grove to mill makes passing routine rather than lucky.

What we require

Single origin, always

Each product comes from one origin and one harvest — never blended from mystery stock to hit a price point.

Small batches, always

Freshness is a quality decision. We stock small and rotate fast — we’d rather sell out than sell old.

Published results, always

Every product ships with a public COA. If a batch’s paperwork isn’t available, that batch isn’t for sale here.

Plain labels, always

We tell you what’s in the package and where it came from — and we don’t make health claims. That’s the law, and you deserve marketing that respects both.

Would we put our own name behind this brand?

That’s the question we ask of every brand, every harvest, every lot — before it ever earns a place on our shelf.
